Corsham a small town that lies midway between Bath and Chippenham.
Its heritage is in the woollen trade and quarrying for Bath stone (mined underground) and
many of the buildings reflect those two industries. This town was the inspiration for Charles Dickens novel 'The Pickwick
Papers' the name Pickwick likely having come from the name of a nearby farm.
The stateley home of Corsham Court lies in the town centre and gives the town a real 'old cham' appeal.
